Death God

In Death God, the protagonist Jongli Chu seeks revenge for his older brother’s death by killing Hwang Jung, a disciple of the Heaven-Slaying Sect. To escape their wrath, Jongli joins the Soul-Killing Chambers, only to find himself entangled in the dangerous and mysterious “ten chastisements.” His only path to survival and freedom lies in becoming a legendary Death God, mastering martial arts and defying the oppressive rules of the orthodox sects.
